Repair of load cell – to strain gauge level if required

Calwest Services were faced with a damaged load cell, where both cast mil spec plugs had been damaged by the load cell falling on the plug and breaking the plug. We advised the client that we could remove the plug, replace the plug with a plastic plug and then place a protective shield over the plug to provide mechanical protection to the plug.

The shield was installed, the load cell calibrated and the client received their load cell back in a timely manner.
