Calibrations Onsite

Tension and compression machines, balances, and other non-moveable instruments are calibrated onsite. Calwest Services staff regularly travel to mine sites, offshore platforms, and other locations in and around Perth as a normal part of our service.

Our staff bring all testing equipment and some basic tooling to perform any necessary repairs. As none of the machine distributors have agents or technicians in Western Australia, they work closely with us to supply parts and technical information.

Field trips are normally organised within a few days, or if required, within 24 hours – depending on staff availability.

When arranging a trip, we must know the machine capacity, its maintenance history, as well as any known faults and behaviour. We can usually diagnose the problem with that information and will travel to site with the necessary tools, parts, and the applicable master calibration instruments. A calibration report will be sent out within one or two days.
